I’m excited to share that I’ll be at the Plainfield Performing Arts Center (PPAC) on Friday, May 30, at 7:00 PM (ET) for an awesome night of poetry.
I’ll be reading from my poetry book, Sorry I Haven’t Texted You Back. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, making this gathering even more meaningful since much of my writing explores themes related to mental health, healing, and connection. I hope this evening offers a safe, uplifting space for all of us.
After the reading, I’ll be staying for a signing, and, at my suggestion, there will be an open mic—so if you’ve got something to share, this is your moment.
Come one, come all. The event is free (books will be for sale, though).

Huge thanks to PPAC’s Community Relations Specialist Allison McWilliams for setting this up!
